WHAT WE DO
Concord works with designers and trade professionals to create custom light fixtures and to develop design proposals for site-specific lighting installations. We design, develop and prototype in our Toronto studio, then work with local manufacturers to create components specific to each fixture. All final assembly is done in-house. Our pieces range from simple and minimalist, to large-scale and installation-based.
HOW WE WORK
Our clients provide us with source images or fabrication drawings of pieces they have in mind. Depending on the nature of the fixture, we use a combination of physical prototyping and computer-based design to establish fabrication methods. We are excited by the challenge of creating original pieces and we will happily modify our existing fixtures to fit your project. We assemble, inspect and package each fixture in our Toronto studio. All of our products are evaluated and approved to the CSA SPE-1000 standard.
WHO WE WORK WITH
Concord’s strength lies in its close working relationship with a broad array of highly specialized shops and fabricators. We have developed a wealth of knowledge of manufacturing processes by working with these shops and individuals. These include, but are not limited to: lighting part manufacturers, glass blowers, machinists, welders, tube and flat laser cutters, metal spinners, brake formers, sheet rollers, stampers, polishers, electroplaters, and powdercoaters. The team continues to grow as Concord continues to evolve.
